How does online tutoring work?

Sessions take place on Zoom, or Google. Your child can be seated at a desk, or table, and have their materials ready to use. Materials include magnetic letter board, magnetic letter tiles, white board, markers and eraser, and will be sent to you at the beginning of your tutoring journey for a one time materials fee.

Lessons elements are presented on screen, while we interact as we would in a live classroom. It is necessary to have a very quiet environment without distractions in order for your child to learn. Headsets are recommended.

Pre-K and Kindergarten students must have an adult present and available to assist with computer functions and materials. It is also helpful for parents to see and understand what their child is learning in order to support them during informal reading at home.
